Increased Government Investment in Banks?

I have read the details of the package and I believe Barney is making it up as he goes along. I did not see any restrictions on usage of the money. Specifically, as he was whining about, I did not see any requirement for the money to be immediately lent out.

Further proof that knee jerk reactions makes for bad law.

methinks many folks are confusing deferred comp - where an exec voluntarily defers part of their earned compensation - with long term compensation. Please understand the difference.

Understanding the Limits of the S&P 500's Usefulness as a Market Barometer

The Wilshire 5000 and SP500 are almost identical in terms of performance and dollar weighted make up. The author's point, in my mind, is to avoid or balance out large caps with mid and small caps. Thus, buy those indices. Not sure what the point of this article is.
