It's Official: Jerry Yang Has Won
Jerry Yang may have won this battle but not the war, he still has to contend with ill behaved employees that tend to abuse their authority on the yahoo internet and if he fails then yahoo will be facing severe financial problems from not only the FCC but the DEA as well.

he has won a battle but not the war! Lets see how his leadership raises the dwindling yahoo stock prices to a more acceptable level before you award him the prize of winning, shall we?

      Steve Ballmer Plays Defense
I think yang made the $33.00 announcement today so the shares in yhoo would climb in value, something else he could show to the shareholders on what he can accomplish over thr Icahn teams intended plan, but it doesn't look like yang is getting his wish. I hope ballmer snaps up AOL and therefore puts yang and his entire team out in the cold cruel world. Yang going up against Icahn mano e mano ought to be interesting to say the least

Talk of AOL-Yahoo Combo Raises Its Ugly Head (Again)
This is like a see-saw, up and down, up and down, where and when will all this stop, I'm getting seasick again! If MSFT makes a play for TWX and pulls a Murdock special, throwing lots of money at AOL, more money than YHOO can afford, then MSFT will win the deal, which leaves YHOO out in the cold....again! And if this does happen, and YHOO loses the proxy fight August 1, then who will Icanh sell Yahoo to, not MSFT, or is this deal still possible?

      The Yahoo-Microsoft Soap Opera Continues
the last time I checked my email box to see if my comment was published, that I had posted on your site regarding yahoo, there wasn't one. Is this because yahoo controlls your site? So much for free speech, huh?

The yahoo employees dislike any comments that speak the truth about them or their company and will delete these comments every chance they get, maybe they are taking after their CEO's actions when he was denying that yahoo had willfully cooperated with the Chinese government regarding the dissidents that were arrested because of the information that yahoo has supplied to them. Maybe the yahoo employees feel that if their leader can do this, (even though he got caught red-handed by the senate committee) they can at least try to follow in his footsteps, afterall, if they get caught, what could possibly happen to them?

Buying yahoo, lock, stock and barrel, then carving them up between their new partners sounds terrific. The shareholders get the money they want for the sale of yahoo and I get rid of this pesky hacker that has been disrupting my computer operations for the past 12 months, unless, of course, he gets busted for committing these illegal crimes over the internet, then, there might be a pause happening between MSFT and YHOO. This is my intention.
