Sirius Stock Up as CEO Buys Two Million Shares
now that siri/xm is the only sat radio provider, how does this info from the oh-so-glorious wikipedia forsee future performance of a company? If this case were 100% applicable to all situations, then companies wouldn't merge. As well, take a gander at the time frame their numbers were posted, we sure were not having any forward movent in the overall economy during this time. Assuming history repeats itself, Siri/Xm has the potential to follow Clear channel until something bigger and better comes out. But asumption never made me money. do your research. df

      Satellite Radio vs. the Competition
Just a thought, like LAN internet/wireless net and cell phone usage. Could multiple users simultaneously create an over burden situation on the internet? Could bandwidth be a limiting factor for internet transmission, or did i miss that tech solutions years ago?

Radio Is Doomed - Tear Down the Broadcast Towers
I spend more time channel surfing the air waves in my car trying to find some decent tunes for the drive around Northern Cali. Traversing from Solano county to the Bay Area and even down to Monterey Bay pretty much yields various radio stations with the same 10 minutes of commercials and very little music or decent talk radio. I'm waiting for the better Sat Radio deals after the merger. Better content, less carp whatever your listening pleasures are.

Internet radio... not bad if you're at home and don't mind the quality. I could imagine internet radio sites in programmable settings (when parked) on in-car radios as a means to navigate to your desired music choice as you drive. df
