Harley Davidson Reducing Dealer Inventories - A Positive Sign

I have a Vespa and I can't afford to ride that. It needs new tires and it does run on gasoline which I need to cut my weeded lawn very infrequently!

Historic Financial Collapse Underway?

Buy gold and silver, hmmmm. That fell with a thud on my hard of hearing ears. I am so far in debt I can't buy food! My car sits in the driveway, I can't leave home. I am supposed to buy gold and silver? I sold two gold wedding bands from my failed relationships for a hundred worthless dollars and that was good. Give me break, give me a Marxist Revolution will you please and dump this demonic capitalism we seem tied too. It has proven worldwide to be a failure!

Gas Lines Coming This Fall

Naw, I don't buy a word of this report at all. The IMF and The World Bank dictate the price of oil. We are under their thumb. This goes way back when we sold our national debt to the Saudi's and we are not permitted to use our vast oil caches in the Alaska north slope per Linsey Williams who lived with the workers there. This is a very simple story of control by Oil and when Iran threatened to change over from the the dollar to the Euro for it's oil, America labled it a terrorist nation and is preparing now for a nuclear attack on Iran with Israel. You can blow this off and most of you will but it will happen and when an American city is evaporated by a nuclear device from an Islamic country will you be awakened?

Wells Fargo (WFC) will become the largest U.S. bank by branches with its bid for Wachovia (WB), after Citigroup (C) withdrew from compromise negotiations late yesterday on concerns about the quality of some of Wachovia's assets. Wells Fargo, with a bid valued at $11.4B, expects the purchase to be completed by the end of the year, and denies it will have to absorb assets shakier than originally thought. Government considers next steps. As the financial crisis continues to worsen, the U.S. government is considering two dramatic steps to turn around, or at least slow, the damage: guaranteeing billions of dollars in bank debt and temporarily insuring all U.S. bank deposits. The moves, which would mark the government's most extensive intervention to date, are in discussion stages only. Credit stays frozen. As frozen credit markets refuse to thaw, the cost of default protection on corporate bonds reaches new global records amid investor concerns the credit crisis will trigger corporate failures as companies struggle to finance their businesses. Interbank lending remains limited, and borrowing from the Fed's expanded discount window continued its trend of setting new highs every week, as the total daily average rose to $420.2B vs. $367.8B last week.
