SemGroup's Fall and the Impact on Oil
In the news from the talking heads for weeks speculation was not the cause for the run up..,, Now the demise of a hedge fund that got caught once agian on the flop. Now we see that speculation was the reason. It is always about the money. Beting at the casino is the same addiction as betting in the markets. Some people just can't take a small good profit and walk away.. They want more. The lure of easy money. What is the price we all pay for this gross obscene manipulation of a good system. We now have naked shorting and firms spending money once again that they are not authorized to spend. The need for greed. We are paying one heck of a price for a small number of peoples gambling addiction.

U.S. Oil Production Today Same as in 1948
Mark has now identified his bias. Thats a good thing. One of these days we are going to be smart enough to follow the money. Then you will be able to see the red herring arguments and throw away distractions for what they are. Does anybody see a disconect between oil companies record profits and the price per barrel VS the price per gallon. To praphrase Hyundai DUH! You see profit is profit. Huge record profits are GREED!!!!!!!!

So now we need to up our production of domestic oil, DRILL< Yes but not for lower gas prices but for the big picture less dependency on imported oil. Lower gas price pressure is the excuse to galvinize the support to get the tree huggers out of the way and create a bogus national emegnency to jack up congress to blow the lobbyists and let' um drill drill drill.

So are we really the smart ones after all. We went to every country in the world drilled and pumped them almost dry. If we are to believe the world shortage Theory. Sort of like golbal warming, So now we come back home and tap our vast reserves and live happy on our own.

Great you want to drill pass down some relief at the pump.. You still have plenty of money to drill.

And Jack take a look at world war II industrial ramp up and production of equipment. We can get and build and train and have anything we put our collective minds to. The chinese are not the only ones who can build stuff. You just have to make it worth while for americans to get off thier toucas and go to it. We have an estmated 11,000,000 man imported work force looking for jobs; Why not the awl bidness!!!!

The Oil Bubble Will Meet the Same Fate as Tech, Housing
Today oil spiked up on Nigirian pipeline explosion, By observation and of the oil market swing the last 5 times the market began to retreat there has been a nigiran pipeline explosian. UMMMM lets see is it possible that the nigerans may want to make more money. So they have been conditionted to be a price improver. Do you really think they will disrupt it bad enough to cut their own financial throat.

The last time the oil bulls ran amuck. We did not have an oil man for president. They released millions of barrels from the stockpiles into the market. The price dropped like a rock. Ending the supply vesus demand arguement,

Short selling is not the same as naked shorting. The trouble with the market is nobody sees the rigged game. Goldman sachs oil will go to 200.00 What losses on other investmets are they tying to recoup. So we buy in to every rumor blogger sound bite. Trendy get rich quick deal, Buffet is Buffet because he plays the long game.

HELLO you have a shortage of oil when you have a line around the block at every gas station and you can only buy gas on alternate days based on the odd or even last digit on your license plate.

Yea that reallly has happend puppies. Yes .COM < REAL ESTATE< now OIL has bubbled, Game over. YES SIR history and memory really are an under valued commodity.

Have you ever heard of anybody being able to stampede a herd of Bears. Ah Ha bulls now that is a different animal that does not think about anything but the direction of the stampede.
They don't seem to ask themselves should I be stampeding. Is this real or is it the perception of reality of my own desire.

I can only hope that some of the rules of the game that have been lifed and modified to the detriment of the market are reinsated soon.

Profit is profit it is only greed that makes you want more then enough/ Greed is never pretty.

Offshore Drilling Isn't the Answer - Supply and Demand Is
Here we go again. Another puppy who got the diluted sanitized politicaly correct history book. Anybody can have a blog, ummm go figure. The american people when backed into a corner have always done some amazining things, You know there are many different quick energy solutions, You all might want to get used to nuculear energy, and T. Boone Pickens is spending money on ads for wind energy. If you dig a little deeper you will find a patent owned by an oil company. I had the the rights to use it in the late 70's . It is a process that runs ethynol thru a catylitc converter and cracks the molecules from ethynol into Hi Octane gasoline, ya thats right GAS from veggies, beets have more suger then corn, however corn mash dried is DDG. Distillers dried grain, thats hi grade cattle feed as a by product. We estimated a cost at the pump of 1.00 might get to 2.00 today. Still cheap and renewable. You beef price gets cheap as well. You see if your just trying to whip a frenzy of fear, and try to drive prices back up. It might work for a little while. If make Americans mad and Fed up. Watch out. Oh by the way oil is just the currant rodeo roundup. Gold next? Silver. It's just about puppies making money. Oh by the way the roads on the last 2 holidays were pretty empty. Smelled a bunch of good cooking on the wind. Guess that is why stockpile are up and the analysts were so very wrong,

Well-Capitalized Regional Banks: The Bottom Is In
Indy mac failed due to a run on assets 2 days before the FED took over. Hey all of you who are under 40 or can't remember the 80's. We had a huge thrift collapse in the 80's. over 150 banks closed They did the resolution trust and everything was fine under 100,000.00 no wories. IRA 250,000 got more then that in one account you need serious financial supervison. They have figured it out for you, talk to your bank

Want to save a bank tell all your friends to go to a professional loan modification company. Yes good honest companies exist. I just modified my loan for less then it cost me to get it in the first place.

A pay option arm in a neighborhood with matching forclosed homes

they lowered the loan amount, by 150,000 and matched the selling price in the neighborhood. gave me a 30 year fixed at 6%. a loan I can afford. With my reduced income.

They now have a performing loan on their books. WoW what a concept.. Tell your friends The state of California now has a law they have to try to modify the loan before going to Forclousure.

A non performing or suspect loans have to have an equal amount of cash on hand dollar for dollar. You don't get this from sensational yellow journelism that is the reason they are writing down assets that is the tekkie jargon. Oh by the way when the market does turn do you write up assetts. This is not the first rodeo for this. How about a pundent who is 50 something and can remember. Oh no lets all panic like huge cracks are appearing in the earth and large rocks are falling from the sky.

      Good luck to you all
