      User 138602: I understand your frustration with DFS stock price and that you gave up because I went through the same feeling but I sold only a small portion of my stake so far to respect my margin restrictions.I can comfirm you that no settlement has been announced since I follow that stock on a daily basis and would have heard of.My understanding is that DFS is seeking 6 billions$ and that the trial should begin this month if there is no settlement before. To Gigs:You are right with your math but these numbers are those mentionned in Barron article.When I read that article I noticed that too,I think Ryan was talking of a premium of 60% to 110% which appears much more realistic given the low price of the stock.

      I mentionned several times in my comments here that DFS was outrageously undervalued.Now that Barron wrote this article, I hope it will help DFS stock price but have hesitation since this market is crazy and sick, though longer term DFS is a sure bet according to me. More, in their article they even not mentionned the potential settlement with MA and V that I beleive will be annouced soon and may represents several billions$ for DFS and alone add between 4$ and 10$ to the stock price.

      Despite general consensus of negativity on financials , I would not short most of them and certainly not DFS which is undervalued and could spike from 6$ to10$ in one minute if it annouces a favorable settlement with MA and V.

      The problem is not SOLF or other chinese companies, the problem is this rotten market and its brainless analysts always ready to scare investors about anything of no importance.So do not try to analyze the logical reasons for this irrationnal behaviour of investors simply because there is none.Why chinese solars have,for most of them, a multiple turning around 10 and american peers around 100.Some will say better technology .What I am saying is xenephobia and mistrust in chinese cos,period.This is stupid and many investors miss the opportunity of a life time to invest in what will be the growing story of this century,CHINA.

      Good article William , you expressed with better words what I am saying for a while in many posts I made lately.Even Warren Buffet took his precious time recently to give a conference to young american students ,i.e. the future of our country, and he explained them that the 19th century belong to UK , the 20th to USA and the 21st to China.I would add that the moment to invest in chinese stocks is better than ever as the stocks are in sale, for example look at FMCN , STV , EJ , FUQI and NED as well as solars companies( SOL , SOLF, TSL, YGE and many others).

      jcordes your damn right about undervaluation of chinese stocks and that is true for almost all chinese stocks , not only the solars.It will change when stupid investors realize that growth is in Asia ,that the managers of these companies are at least as honest and competent as those in the US and that China economy is much more than the Olympics.Meanwhile it is time load up of chinese stocks.

      Acording to me, US solars are not cheap ,the most obvious example is FSLR. However, most chinese solars are undervalued if you look at their PE and PEG ,I would say seriously cheap .

      Speculators Bigger Players in Futures, Options Markets Than Thought
      Great article , that simply proves what I have always known.So, can someone explain me why Bush administration was willing to spend 1 trillion or more ( and thousands of killed americans) for a silly war in Irak in the name of national security ( during that war the barrel went from $20 to $150) and did nothing to stop these speculators who jeopardized our economy and are a much greater threat to our national security than Saddam and his sons were.BIG MANIPULATION AND ONCE AGAIN EVERYTHING TO PLEASE HIS FREINDS TO THE DETRIMENT OF AN ENTIRE NATION.

      Great article Kelvin, I am a fan of this company for more than one year and I am disgusted to see its stock price so ridiculously low. I hope this will change rapidly , this stock should be around $40.00.I must also admit that this reality applies to many chinese solar companies.

      I do not know if DFS will take advantage of AXP problems , but I am sure they will do great in the future and that DFS has more possibilities for growth than AXP which is already so big.With respect to analysis and analysts doing them , I say their are generally useless and mislead investors.You all know that analysts change their opinion and recommandations as easily and often as Jim Cramer. DFS will prove all them wrong in the next quarters and years.DFS rocks .
