WaMu: Intensification of Stealth Buying

In response to venividivici: The entire financial sector contracted on Tuesday. This makes the 10% drop no fault of WAMUs. I believe that this stock will recover, it's just a matter of when. I've put my money where my mouth is and bought in, and will buy even more if declines!

5 Reasons Not to Upgrade to the New iPhone 3G

To all you guys complaining about the battery life: Just like your iPod, your phone can be charged from any desktop computer. All you need is any iPod, or iPhone USB cable. Personally, I have access to a computer anywhere I go. In addition to that, the head unit in my car has a USB connection, meaning I can charge it as I drive as well as play music from it as I drive.

I realize that I may have more access to power than some, but I’m sure many people have more ability to charge their iPhone than they realize.

This rant is mainly geared toward AT&T, the title of the article should reflect your complaints to AT&T, not AAPL. Also, you use the word "ubiquitous" three times in two sentences, how about a little diversification Thomas?

60 shares? When did you buy them? at $35? or at 6? WM isn't going anywhere. It may not perform well for a few years to come, but it will be back. I've put my money where my mouth is and bought in at $6. It'll recover.

Lucky Lenny "Barack Hussein Obama" is not the current president. He is not the reason for this lawsuit. You're bringing your politics into this economic discussion, it's annoying.

As for "upside_down_fl&q... ever think that you brought this on yourself? How about working some extra hours, picking up a second job, or asking for that promotion? Take some financial responsibility and don't drag the rest of our portfolios down with your delinquency.

Wells Fargo (WFC) will become the largest U.S. bank by branches with its bid for Wachovia (WB), after Citigroup (C) withdrew from compromise negotiations late yesterday on concerns about the quality of some of Wachovia's assets. Wells Fargo, with a bid valued at $11.4B, expects the purchase to be completed by the end of the year, and denies it will have to absorb assets shakier than originally thought. Government considers next steps. As the financial crisis continues to worsen, the U.S. government is considering two dramatic steps to turn around, or at least slow, the damage: guaranteeing billions of dollars in bank debt and temporarily insuring all U.S. bank deposits. The moves, which would mark the government's most extensive intervention to date, are in discussion stages only. Credit stays frozen. As frozen credit markets refuse to thaw, the cost of default protection on corporate bonds reaches new global records amid investor concerns the credit crisis will trigger corporate failures as companies struggle to finance their businesses. Interbank lending remains limited, and borrowing from the Fed's expanded discount window continued its trend of setting new highs every week, as the total daily average rose to $420.2B vs. $367.8B last week. Computer Sciences (CSC) -- This is a company that was going to be bought, but they passed up the chance. Now I don't want to buy it."
