Buy, Sell, or Hold Fertilizer Stocks: Agriculture Bust (Part II)
I am not sure where the author is getting his data but last time I checked Potash prices were going up and they continue on going up. The strike at PCS should even drive prices higher which is great news for other fertilizers companies. If the commodity price is moving up then the stock will follow.

The argument about Citi and Potash market Cap is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard. Citi is losing money by the truck loads. PCS is making money by the truck loads. Why are you surprised that PCS's market cap has surpassed Citi? If Citi's market cap drops by another 20% - 30% (which is very possible in this market) does that mean I should go ahead and sell my shares in Research in Motion, Amazon or McDonalds. All these companies have a market cap between 40 - 70 Billion and have increased their stock price over the past 52 weeks. Very bad argument on the author's side

By the way, when you wrote your post at the end of July the prices for these Agri stocks were already way down. So the claim that you foresaw this drop is not accurate.

      Very amateur writing

Mechel Ruling is Good News, Contrary to Recent Headlines
The actual fine is a lot less than expected. Mechel was fined 5% of last year's coaking coal revenue which translates into $35 Million. Mechel was ordered to cut prices by 15% for domestic prices. Market expectation was for a 30% decrease in prices. This is great news

Research In Motion's 3G Counteroffensive: The Smartphone Arms Race Escalates
I am the typical Apple hater. I never owned a Mac and I love my Windows PC. I hate Apple's high prices for hardware and software. I truly believe that sometime in the very near future every person will own a smartphone. I used to own a Palm treo and have a blackberry at work. 3 weeks ago I did something I thought I would never do. I bought an IPhone. I can sum up my experience in three words: I AM ADDICTED. I am having a very hard time leaving my new phone alone. My Coworkers and friends think that I am crazy because I never put my phone down. My battery dies every 5 hours because I am abusing my phone's features. A week later I bought Apple shares when they dipped after earnings. I even had two of my friends (who can also be labeled as Apple haters) buy the phone two weeks ago. This phone is way better than anything I have ever used. Super user friendly (The user manual is just few pages), for all ages, they have put a lot of thinking in every single feature of the phone. I cannot believe that I used to use a Palm before. The blackberry looks so old, rusty and unfriendly compared to the IPhone. I think that IPhone will turn into a cult similar to the IPod. The fact that the blackberry thunder (Blackberry's response to the IPHone) will come up at least 6 months from now gives Apple ample time to even gain more market share. I think if the Thunder is not up to par, Apple will crush all these phone companies the same way it did with the IPod
