Re: Fitz & Pursley: I believe Pursley is right. What amazes me is the amount of misinformation (major and minor) one finds on these pages. Even if the information comes from Seeking Alpha, "Do your homework." Take nothing for granted . . . . check all facts. Aug 25 12:04 PM
    • 15 Value Hedge Funds - Portfolio Update [view article]
I don't see much "value" in this kind of blanket value listing. Would prefer something more akin to e-valu-ating individual stocks, industries, etc., rather than, "Wither the hedge herd, mate?". Aug 21 12:15 PM

One could argue that the returns on commodities were atypical and saved your bacon. I.e., they constituted a bubble, which has now burst. There is no guarantee that such returns, or any denominated return, of course, will re-occur in the future. Aug 18 12:10 PM

Famous quote: "To be an automobile mechanic you have to have a little larceny in your blood." Infamous paraphrase: "To succeed in the financial services industry you have to be a little dishonest." Aug 16 01:27 PM
    • Great Execution Pick - Cramer's Mad Money (8/14/08) [view article]
Puiblishing a summary of Cramer's picks is fine, but how about exercising a little critical judgement once in a while? Cramer tends to be a bit loquacious (I almost said, a bit of a "motor mouth"), and providing a trail of breadcrumbs through the dark woods of his comments might be of benefit to the reader.
