      Bad News for Housing
      Simple fact. realestate is OVERPRICED.
See Case Shiller, or Eliziabeth Warren of Harvard, the end of the US middle class. In 2005 US home prices, and mostly in the top 7 markets, were grossly overvalued (77% overpriced). Me must let the free forces of capitalizim work. Artificial supports are no better than fake loans.
Low real estate prices are good for the country. We simply spend too much $$$ on non productive items like rent and interest. This is the only way US businesses will be able to compete and our children will be able to buy a home of their own without a wealthy parent. I own several homes and share the pain, a pain we all must endure.

Dow in Secular Bear Market When Priced in Ounces of Gold
No kidding. The US has been in an 8 year Bear market and will most likely continue to fail for the next 8 years. This market correction is in keeping with past downturns that have lasted on average 16 years. the US economy has been living on the expansion of credit. Now credit is contracting back to a more normalized state... SELL SELL SELL

Homebuilder Executive Pay Suffers Housing Slump Backlash - Housing Tracker
This is simply criminal. These CEOs are nothing more than overhead and ought to be treated as such. They over build, lose shearholder value and have their pensions and taxes fully paid?? As a Wealth advisor for the last 30 years I can not recall a decade of such fiscal abuse. We should be rewarding inventors and entrepeneurs not gladhanding corporate cheerleaders skilled in "financial engineering". If you seek old fashioned growth and returens--Sell, sell, sell your US based stock and buy the forgien companies- The BRIC nations get it.

Yes the market can and will go lower, but don't expect the Fed to come to the rescue with inflation poised to explode upward.

Friday's Selloff: Expecting More, But Then Recovery
What's keeping the US markets up??
Inflation is on the rise, unemployment is rising, earning are falling and realestate is diving. Isn't this the 1970's all over again?? Remember wage freezes?? Inflation that year sored to an unheard of 4%. If the US government went back to using the same realist ## as back then we would be in the same boat. this is not good
